Unless otherwise defined herein capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Circular.CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME The Board is pleased to announce that the English name of the Company has been changed from “Star Group Company Limited” to “Star Group Asia Limited” and the Chinese name of the Company has been changed from “星星集团有限公司” to “星星集团亚洲有限公司”.The Shareholders have approved a special resolution of the Change of Company Name by way of poll at the AGM held on 23 May 2024. The new company name was approved by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands and the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name was issued on 24 May 2024.The Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company was issued by the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong (the “Registrar”) on 13 June 2024 confirming the registration of the new name of the Company in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong).EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME The change of Company name will not affect any rights of the existing Shareholders or the Company’s daily business operation and its financial position.
