The board (the “Board”) of directors (the “Directors”) of the Company would like to inform the shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) and potential investors that based on a preliminary review of the Group’s unaudited consolidated management accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 and information currently available to the Board the Group is expected to record a decrease in the consolidated attributable profit to the owners of the Company of approximately HK$5.5 million or about 29.0% for the year ended 31 March 2024 as compared with the consolidated attributable profit to the owners of the Company for the corresponding year of 2023.The Board considered that such expected decline in the consolidated attributable profit to the owners of the Company for the year ended 31 March 2024 was mainly attributable to: (i) the decrease in the overall revenue due to the decrease in number of projects with higher contract sum undertaken by the Group as well as the postponement and delay of certain contracts by some property developers; (ii) the cessation of subsidies provided by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Government of Macau Special Administrative Region under the 2022 Employment Support Scheme and COVID-19 pandemic relief measures respectively; and (iii) impairment loss on investment in an associate was recognised in the consolidated profit or loss during the year. 1The Company is still in the process of finalising its results for the year ended 31 March 2024. The information contained in this announcement is only based on the preliminary assessment by the Board on the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the year ended 31 March 2024 and the information available for the time being which have neither been reviewed by the audit committee of the Company nor audited by the Company’s auditors and is subject to possible adjustments.
