Ltd.* (the “Company” together with its subsidiaries collectively the “Group”) pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of The Laws of Hong Kong).POWER GENERATION AND ON-GRID POWER GENERATION The board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company announces that based on the statistics of the Company the total power generation of nuclear power generating units operated and managed by the Group from January to June 2024 amounted to approximately 113378.23 GWh representing a year-on-year increase of 0.08%. A refuelling outage was carried out for the corresponding period in 2023. 4. The duration of the refuelling outages at Lingdong Nuclear Power Station from January to June 2024 was longer than the corresponding period in 2023. 5. Fangchenggang Unit 3 was put into commercial operation on March 25 2023 and Unit 4 was qualified for commercial operation on May 25 2024. 6. The duration of the refuelling outages at Taishan Nuclear Power Station from January to June 2024 was shorter than the corresponding period in 2023. 2This announcement also contains a brief operation review of the Company for the second quarter of 2024 as follows: STATUS OF OPERATION Units in operation Fangchenggang Unit 4 was qualified for commercial operation on May 25 2024.In the second quarter of 2024 the Group completed as scheduled one annual refuelling outage two ten-year outages and one initial outage and conducted two new annual refuelling outages.As at June 30 2024 the Group has completed as scheduled five annual refuelling outages (including an annual refuelling outage conducted over to the next year) four ten-year outages (including a ten-year outage conducted over to the next year) and an initial outage.In the third quarter of 2024 in addition to continuing the refuelling outages for units which had commenced the Group plans to conduct four new annual refuelling outages and one ten-year outage.Units under construction On April 29 2024 Lufeng Unit 5 completed its dome lifting work and entered the equipment installation phase.As at June 30 2024 the Group manages a total of 10 nuclear power generating units which have been approved for FCD and are under construction (including 6 units which were entrusted to the Company by the controlling shareholder of the Company for management) among which one was in the commissioning phase four were in the equipment installation phase one was in the civil construction phase and four were in the FCD preparation phase. The dividend is expected to be paid on July 10 2024. For details please refer to the circular of the Company dated April 11 2024 and the announcement of the Company dated May 29 2024.On June 21 2024 the Board considered and approved the resolution on the Issuance of A Share Convertible Corporate Bonds by the Company to non-specific investors. According to the requirements of relevant laws regulations and regulatory documents and based on the financial position and investment plans of the Company the total amount of proceeds raised from the proposed Issuance of A Share Convertible Corporate Bonds will not exceed RMB4.9 billion (RMB4.9 billion inclusive) and the net proceeds after deducting issuance expenses are intended to be used for Unit 5 and Unit 6 of Lufeng nuclear power plants in Guangdong Province. The effectiveness and completion of matters relating to the Issuance of A Share Convertible Corporate Bonds to non-specific investors shall be subject to the considerations and approvals of the shareholders' general meeting and the class meeting of the Company the approval of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the approval of registration by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.For details please refer to the relevant announcement of the Company dated June 21 2024.Shareholders and potential investors of the Company are reminded that the above information only represents the operational performance of the nuclear power stations of the Group and is not a basis of reference or calculation of the revenue or profit generated or derived by the Group for the six months ended June 30 2024.
